INDOGAMERS.ID The Game Awards melalui laman beritanya telah umumkan nominasi untuk persaingan The Game Awards 2021 (16/11). Nominasi Game of The Year tahun ini diisi oleh beberapa judul seperti Deathloop, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, dan Resident Evil Village.

Tahun lalu, The Last of Us Part 2 mendominasi dengan 10 nominasi dan 7 di antaranya berhasil diraih sebagai pemenang. The Game Awards 2021 kali ini didominasi oleh 9 nominasi untuk gim Deathloop. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart menyusul di belakang dengan 6 nominasi. Psychonauts 2 dan It Takes Two masing-masing mengantongi 5 nominasi.

Sedangkan untuk publisher, gabungan Xbox Game Studios dan Bethesda mendominasi dengan 20 nominasi. Diikuti oleh Sony Interactive Entertainment dengan 11 nominasi, dan SQUARE ENIX dan Electronic Arts dengan masing-masing 10 nominasi.
