IDGS - Kegiatan rutinitas industri game pada acara penghargaan bergengsi salah satunya ajang The Game Awards, ajang yang bisa dikatakan "Piala Oscar-nya" game ini. Setiap penghujung tahun selalu diadakan, pada 12 Desember 2019 mendatang bertempat di Los Angeles, Amerika Serikat. Disiarkan langsung di platform streaming YouTube, Twitch, Mixer dan Facebook.

Nominasi Games sebanyak 29 kategori yang terdiri dari 5 hingga 6 nominator di setiap kategori-nya, dimana sistem pemungutan suara berbasis online yang tersedia di The Games Awards 2019, hanya perlu login menggunakan Facebook atau Twitter.
